PIERRE, S.D.(DRGNews)- Another derecho blew through South Dakota Tuesday causing power outages and damaging structures.
Most of the worst of the storm occurred in the north central part of the state.
Weatherology Meteorologist Mandy Thalhuber says four-inch hail was reported near Timber Lake in Dewey County.
Thalhuber says high wind speeds were also recorded.
She says there was also heavy rain.
The National Weather Service defines a derecho as a straight line wind storm that extends more than 240 miles and includes wind gusts of at least 58 miles per hour.
