ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Brown County Republicans hosted a Candidate Forum involving candidates looking to represent Districts 1, 3, & 23. This story will focus on the candidates for District 23 House. Incumbent Representative Scott Moore was unable to attend due to a prior commitment.
One of the topics was the issue with the CO2 pipeline. The following candidates gave their views on the pipeline.

The candidates were also asked about HB1219 that would prohibit eminent domain for the pipeline. The bill was defeated at the House Commerce & Energy Committee but was later smoked out. There were not enough votes to calendar the bill for a full debate.
Representative Wangsness voted against to put the bill up for debate. He explains why he was opposed.
Gosch explains why he would have supported the bill.
Republican Primary is Tuesday, June 4th. Early voting is going on now through June 3rd.
