PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Sunday, Governor Kristi Noem appeared on CNN State of the Union with host Dana Bash to discuss a number of different issues.
Governor Noem promoted the website Life.SD.Gov when dealing with abortion rights.
Noem discuss the family leave could be talked about in the upcoming special session.
Noem said she would support family medical leave.
Another topic discussed is the issue of Medicaid expansion that will be voted on in November. Governor Noem said she would oppose it but would implement it if it does pass.
Noem also addressed the take Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas have on addressing other issues such as same sex marriages.
Governor Noem offers her take on the 1/6 commission dealing with the attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Noem was asked about the energy policy in place under President Biden’s administration.
Governor Noem also said in the interview that if former President Trump does run for the office in 2024 that she will support him.
