PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- The House Select Committee on Investigation of the South Dakota legislature spent two days last week asking questions about the involvement and actions of Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg following the fatal crash that killed Joe Boever in September of 2020.

Committee member, Representative Mike Stevens of Yankton, says they needed to hear from the investigators.

Stevens says they now need to review what they have heard and read.

Stevens says it will be difficult to hold more follow up committee meetings due to the amount of work they face in the regular session.

Ravnsborg pled no contest to two misdemeanor charges in connection with the accident and Boever’s death.
