Recap of Senator Rounds’s appearance on CNN “State of the Union”

PRESHO, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds appeared on Sunday morning on CNN’s “State of the Union”.  Host Dana Bash asked Senator Rounds about a variety of issues.

Bash asked the senator to react to comments made by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer(N.Y.) about pushing for new elections in Israel.

Bash moved on to what the U.S. House passed last week that could lead to a potential ban of Tik Tok in the U.S.  Senator Rounds reacted to what the U.S. House did.

Rounds believes the best move is for Tik Tok to be sold to people living in the U.S.

Bash moved on to the 2024 elections.  On Saturday, former President Trump made reference to “bloodbath” for auto workers in a campaign stop in Ohio.  Senator Rounds believes this is reference to policies in place by President Biden’s administration.

Bash asked if Senator Rounds would now endorse Trump as President of the United States for the 2024 elections.

Rounds did say the Trump is the best choice among the two candidates for President.
