PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Tuesday, the first day of the 100th South Dakota Legislative Session, Governor Kristi Noem delivered the annual State of the State Address. This year’s theme is a top ten list talking out why South Dakota is an example for the nation to follow.

Governor Noem sent a message to legislators regarding the motto of the state, “Under God the People Rule.”
Donald Trump has nominated Governor Noem to be Secretary of Homeland Security. If appointed, she would be replaced by Lt. Governor Larry Rhoden. Noem offered her full endorsement if that happens.
Noem’s confirmation hearing is planned for Wednesday at 8am in Washington.
