SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- The richest rodeo in South Dakota history was a huge success!

The Cinch Governor’s Cup rodeo drew some of the biggest names in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.

Promoter Rorey Lemmel says Saturday night was a near sell-out at the Denny.

Attendance was strong with a near sell-out crowd Saturday night.

Lemmel says the event also helped some of the competitors qualify for the national finals rodeo.

The national finals rodeo will be held in Las Vegas in December.
