ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Brown County Commission held their weekly meeting on Tuesday at the Courthouse.

One of the topics discussed is amending a resolution dealing with remittance fee and schedule to the Treasurer’s Office.  Brown County Sheriff Dave Lunzman talked about a concern he had about the schedule to turn money in.

Brown County Commissioner Duane Sutton looked to clarify the schedule date to have it turned in.

Sutton talks about the recommendation from the legislative audit.

Lunzman acknowledge tighter control is needed but still express possible concern due to lack of staff.

Brown County Commission approved amending the resolution.

Brown County Commission Mike Wiese asked Sheriff Lunzman about update on the monthly reports.

Lunzman will check into why the commission weren’t receiving those reports.

Commissioner Sutton later in the meeting authorized contracts for the upcoming Brown County Fair.

Brown County Highway Superintendent Dirk Rogers set a bid date of February 17th for an upcoming project on County Highway 14 south of the airport.
