ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Brown County Commission held their weekly meeting on Tuesday.  During the Open Forum they heard an issue from resident Matt Elsen regarding a road near the bridge in the Hecla area.

Brown County Highway Superintendent Dirk Rogers responded.

No action could be made by the commission since they are not allowed to respond during open forum.

Also in the Open Forum, Senator Carl Perry talks about the upcoming visit to Ellendale on Wednesday to look at their data center.

Perry told the commission about the agenda the North Dakota Energy and Transmission Committee.

Perry comment on the education impact the data center has had to the Ellendale schools.

Later in the meeting, Commissioner Duane Sutton discussed the Open Meeting Laws passed this year by the legislature.

Sutton gave an example of one change made by the legislature.

Brown County Commission acknowledged the changes that were made.

The Commission also approved a resolution addressing the ABCRRA(Aberdeen Brown County Regional Railroad Authority.
