PIERRE, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The state’s COVID-19 numbers released earlier today show a leap of 54 recoveries compared to 10 on Monday.
There were 121 new cases reported, compared to 138 new cases on Monday. Negative cases totaled 174 compared to 311 the day before.
The state’s total numbers include 988 confirmed cases, 8,308 negative cases and 261 recoveries with 0 tests pending. Hospitalizations are up one to 45 and deaths remained at six.
Locally, the numbers remained the same in Brown County with 14 confirmed cases and 10 recoveries.
Minnehaha County continues to see its numbers increase with 115 new confirmed cases bringing its total to 768 cases, most of which originated at the Smithfield Foods plant. The county also has 120 recoveries. Neighboring Lincoln County has 55 confirmed cases and 27 recoveries.
