Legion Post 250 (C’Wood)  2 F/6 innings

• After a nearly two week break, the Redfield Post 92 legion baseball team picked right up where they left off & that’s with a convincing win over the Castlewood Legion Post 250 program, 15-2.

• Nolan Gall earned the win on the hill going five and two thirds innings and only surrendering two hits and a pair of runs, he also struck out seven in the victory. Post 92 sent ten batters to the plate over the course of the game & nine of them had at least one RBI. Leading the charge was the aforementioned Gall; he was 2-3 with 4RBI to help his cause. Camden Osborn went 4-5 with three runs scored + a pair of RBI. Owen Osborn was 2-4, with three runs scored and two knocked in, as well.

• Redfield out-hit Legion Post 250, 18-2 and Post 250 had a rough evening in the field, committing seven errors. Post 92 enjoyed a 7-0 lead going into the 6th inning and put the game out of reach, posting an ‘eight-spot’ in the top half of the frame. With the win, Redfield Post 92 ups their record to 14-5.
