FT. PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – The South Dakota Board of Regents will be meeting this week in Ft Pierre, holding their annual strategic planning session.

One of the agenda items is titled: “College Affordability in South Dakota; A Critical Analysis.”

Regents President Kevin Schieffer says much of the affordability question is tied to their shrinking funding.

Schieffer says they are looking at other funding sources and cutting costs.

Schieffer says the rate of change is speeding up.

The Regents are meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday at Drifters Event Center in Ft Pierre.
