ABERDEEN, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – The schedules have been finalized & released for the Northern State men’s & women’s basketball programs for the fall and winter of this year. On the women’s side, the Wolves will open up their 2024 season at the Barnett Center against Pittsburg State on Friday November 8th and then on Saturday November 9th against Nebraska Kearney. Following that weekend, the Wolves will travel out west to Rapid City on Friday & Saturday to take on South Dakota Mines & Black Hills State. The first conference game for NSU will be on Thursday, November 21st against U-Mary from Wachs Arena; following that, they’ll have their trip to Hawaii to take on Hawaii Hilo & CA State Dominguez Hills on the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving.
As for the NSU men, they’ll open up their season in late October, on the 28th at home against the Dickinson State Bluehawks on a Monday. On November 8th and 10th they’ll travel south to take on Missouri Western & Emporia State, respectively. The Wolves will take on Northwest Nazarene in Nampa, ID on November 15th & then wrap up their non-conference slate with a pair of matchups against NSAA teams: Dakota State on November 19th & soon-to-be NSIC member, Jamestown on November 23rd. The Wolves will open their conference season at home from Wachs Arena on Tuesday November 26th against U-Mary.
