Remains of body found near Sheridan Lake

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – The remains of 22-year-old Dakota (Zai-Ser) Zaiser were found by police in a forested area near Sheridan Lake, with signs the body was placed there in an attempt to conceal its location.

Community relations specialist for the Rapid City Police Department Brendyn Medina said the death is likely tied to a suspect already detained in New York City.

The leading suspect is 36-year-old Arnson (Ab-soo-lou)Absolu, who officers are currently in the process of expediting back to South Dakota.

Zaiser had been reported missing since late last month, following the shooting deaths of Charles Red Willow, 26, and Ashley Nagy, 29. Authorities believe the three killings are connected, and possibly drug related.
