YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – The Yankton County Commission got some good news about repairing the closed Jamesville Bridge.
Commission Chairman Dan Klimisch.
The bridge over the James River has been closed since it was inundated during the September flooding. After the water went down, cracks were found on the bridge substructure.
Klimisch say getting it fixed in the winter could be tough.
Klimisch says they may ask to extend the repair time into the spring.
The bridge was also flooded and closed during the March storms.
