ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Wednesday, District 3 Representative Carl Perry officially announced his intentions to run the Senate seat for District 3 representing Aberdeen.
Representative Perry explains why he’s decided to run for the Senate seat instead of running one more term in the South Dakota House.

In the past elections, Representative Perry have been running campaign in conjunction with his colleagues in District 3. This year, Perry said that he will do campaigning with the D3 team as well as on his own.
An article from the conservative blog, Dakota War College, was released shortly after the press release raised concerns about endorsements he received for his run for the Senate on his official website. Some notified SDCampaigns that it wasn’t true. Perry clarifed those endorsements on the page.
Earlier this year Katie Washnok announced her candidacy for the District 3 Senate seat on the Republican side. They are looking to replace Senator Al Novstrup who’s term limited. Novstrup has declared he will run for the District 3 House seat.
