SALEM, S.D.(WNAX)- As legislators prepare for the state of the 2023 South Dakota legislative session, committee assignments are reshuffled and handed out.
District 19 Representative-elect Drew Peterson of Salem has landed on the Agriculture and Natural Resources, Transportation and Government Operations and Audit Committees.
He was asked to serve on GOAC.
Peterson says he has been talking to county commissioners about what they need for roads and bridges.
Legislators return to Pierre for the start of the session on January 10th.
