ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Last week the Republican National Convention was held in Milwaukee, W.I. where Donald Trump was officially the Republican nominee for President of the U.S.

Among those in attendance was District 3 Representative Brandei Schaefbauer and she was on the KSDN Midday Report to talk about her time in Milwaukee.

Representative Schaefbauer talks about what her expectations were heading into the convention,

On Monday, President Trump announce that Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio will be his VP choice.  Schaefbauer talks about his background.

Governor Noem delivered her speech to the convention on Monday night.  Schaefbauer talks about the honor for the Governor to speak at the convention.

Donald Trump delivered his acceptance speech on Thursday.  Schaefbauer talks about the emotions at the start of the speech when he talked about the assassination attempt.

One issue not really address was the issue of abortion.  Schaefbauer was disappointed that didn’t receive more attention.

The Democratic National Convention will be in Chicago on Aug 19th-22nd.
