Resolution rebukes Johnson for vote against emergency measure on border

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – When the South Dakota legislature convenes for the final day on Friday, the Senate State Affairs Committee will take up a resolution: “Rebuking Congressman Dusty Johnson for voting against President Trump’s emergency measure to secure the southern border.”

Johnson says he is not too concerned.

Johnson says there will be many more tough votes ahead.

Johnson says he isn’t worried about being popular.

The resolution is sponsored by Senators Lance Russell, Lynne DiSanto, Phil Jensen and Stace Nelson.
