PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – South Dakota legislators are off today and will return to Pierre tomorrow for their four-day week.

Nathan Sanderson, Executive Director of the South Dakota Retailers Association, says the first half week was pretty low key.

Sanderson says COVID-19 precautions have changed procedures noticeably.

Sanderson says lobbyists have had to change along with legislators.

Legislators can introduce unlimited bills until Jan. 28.
