Retailers leader says many businesses have taken hits

PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – Lawmakers will meet in a special session in Pierre on Monday to consider how best to spend federal CARES Act funding. One proposal would allocate $400 million dollars to help small businesses.

Nathan Sanderson is Executive Director of the South Dakota Retailers Association.

Sanderson says many businesses took pandemic hits.

Sanderson says even with the help, some businesses won’t survive.
