Revillo man identified in fatal crash south of Revillo

REVILLO S.D. (Press Release) – A Revillo, S.D. man has been identified as the person who died Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash south of Revillo.

A 1999 Chevrolet S-10 pickup was traveling east on U.S. Highway 212 and made a left turn onto 482nd Avenue. The pickup collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado HD pickup that was traveling west on U.S. Highway 212.

William Johnson, the 62-year old driver of the Chevrolet S-10 pickup, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt.

The two female occupants of the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado both received serious non-life threatening injuries. Morgan Johnson, the 20-year old driver, and Kathryn Johnson, the 51-year old passenger, both were wearing seat belts and were transported to a Watertown Hospital. Both are from Boyd, MN.

South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. All information is only preliminary at this time.
