Ribbon cutting took place Thursday at Lake Area Tech

WATERTOWN, S.D.(KWAT)–A ribbon-cutting was held Thursday on more than 26,000 square feet of new construction that’ll serve as a state-of-the-art learning environment for diesel technology students at Lake Area Technical College.

It’s known as the Ace A. Brandt Diesel Center.

Sanderson says there were many players who made this project possible, most notably the late Ace Brandt of Fargo.

Tyler Brandt spoke about his brother Ace at today’s ribbon-cutting.

The Ace A. Brandt Diesel Center includes lab space, classrooms and a wash bay for the large diesel equipment that students work on.
