ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Derek Ricci is no longer the manager of the Brown County Fair.

Rachel Kippley, Vice Chair of the Brown County Commission, confirmed that Ricci was relieved of his duties during an executive session meeting of the commission earlier this month. Kippley said that a new manager will be hired this spring. She said that there are currently 1.5 employees still employed within the fair budget. Kippley said the commission would not be able to comment on the matter because it is a personnel issue.

Ricci had served as Brown County Fair Manager since 2015.
