ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- Beginning at 8:00am on Thursday, May 19, 2022, the following road will be closed to thru traffic for utility work:
1st Avenue SW between South 1st Street and South Main Street
The road is expected to remain closed until 11:00am, motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed. Work will be completed as quickly as possible.
Beginning at approximately 9:00am on Thursday, May 19th, 2022, the following road will be closed to thru traffic for railroad crossing signal repairs:
Railroad Crossing at North Kline Street
In addition, flagmen will be posted at the railroad crossings at Dakota St., Main St., and State St., on May 20th to stop traffic in the event the signals are not working as they test them.
Both North/South will be impacted, motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed. The road is expected to reopen at 4:00pm on Friday, May 20th, 2022.
