WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- The City of Watertown has announced an asphalt paving project, set to begin on Monday, May 6, 2024. This road work is expected to be completed by the end of May 2024, barring any unexpected complications.

Phase 1 Roadwork Details:

• 1st Ave SE: Work will span Highway 81 to 14th St.
• 3rd Ave SE: Construction will cover Hwy 81 to 14th St.
• 3rd St S: Upgrades from Highway 212 to 4th Ave will be made.

Residents and commuters are strongly advised to take note of road closures in these areas and plan their routes accordingly.
