ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – A project entitled Roncalli Back on Track is underway to construct a track and field practice facility at Aberdeen Roncalli High School.

The Cavaliers lost their normal practice facility when the City of Aberdeen decided to construct a new softball complex at the sight of the old Swisher Field.

Mark Stone, Co-Athletic Director at Roncalli, talked about the situation.

He said nearly 100 student-athletes participate in the sport at the school.

Stone said more than $100,000 has been raised so far. The goal is to start the project this fall.
