HC Ryan Bohle’s thoughts on FRI: “I was really impressed with our performance (against Spearfish). We had (a lot) of dominant singles wins…we ended the day with the defending state champs in RC Stevens. I’m very happy with the way we competed and that I really didn’t feel like we were intimidated, I thought that could have been an issue. There’s a lot to build on in this loss, I always want these girls to know that we are not that far from competing real close with the best.”

HC Ryan Bohle’s thoughts on SAT: “We started the day (vs. RCC) a little flat & didn’t have a whole lot of energy and they frustrated us; Gianna had a nice tiebreaker win & she’s such a smooth player. I thought it would be interesting to see how we would respond with Madison on deck. We challenged the girls and they responded in a big way. Sydney Bohle, Abbie Anderson & Lydia Nora continue to eat up wins for us and that is huge for our young team. Josie Mitzel won her first match of the year at flight one singles and partnered with Sydney to win another at flight one doubles. I could not be more happy than I am for Josie. She is such an incredible leader for our young group. We took six varisty players and three JV players to Pierre and all nine won multiple matches over the two days. That speaks to our depth & I think that’s really something we take pride in.”
