WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds is co-sponsoring a bill that would establish the “2020 Bipartisan Advisory Committee” to look at the integrity of the November elections and make recommendations for improvements to the states.
Rounds says the committee would look for best practices.
Rounds says there were issues in some states that led people to not trust the results.
The bill calls for an eighteen-member committee, nine each appointed by Congressional Democrats and Republicans, which would issue a report before the 2022 elections.
