Rounds encourages state’s teens to believe in themselves and get involved

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Senator Mike Rounds is in South Dakota this week where he is speaking at Girls State in Vermillion and Boys State in Aberdeen.

He said his message to the teenagers is to believe in themselves and get involved.

Rounds is currently dealing with a variety of issues in Washington, including legislation that he recently introduced on concealed carry.

Of course the biggest topic on the minds of area farmers is the on going trade war.

While Republicans and Democrats seem to be at odds over many issues in the nation’s capitol, Rounds said there is still plenty of bipartisan cooperation to get things done.
