WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – While the impeachment hearings are going on in the U.S. House, Senators who could sit in judgement are watching.

South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds isn’t impressed, yet.

Rounds was critical of the House committee process.

Rounds says while Senators could sit as an impeachment jury, they are not sequestered from the ongoing hearings.

A possible Senate trial could take place early next month.
