Rounds responds to President’s tweet about delaying election

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – President Trump got attention when he tweeted out a question about delaying the November election because of fears of fraud connected to mail in ballots.

South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says he thinks it was a question about the security of mailed ballots.

Rounds says the system used in South Dakota is sound.

Rounds says he would like to see all ballots counted on election day.

Rounds says he didn’t see the tweet as a serious threat to delay the election.
