WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – Some Members of Congress are calling on Facebook to better patrol the political ads posted there for facts and accuracy.

South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says he doesn’t support those kinds of restrictions.

Rounds says access to Facebook and social media is the key.

Rounds says social media has become too important to be restricted especially by Congress.

Rounds says the discussion centered around interference in the U.S. election process by foreign governments.
