WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – The Trump Administration is blaming China for allowing the coronavirus to escape a lab and then attempting to cover it up.

South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says they have been briefed on that.

Rounds says there is no indication the virus was released intentionally.

Rounds says the lab was doing virus research at the time.

The President has threatened more sanctions against China because of the damage caused by the pandemic.
