WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – The Senate this week passed the $2.2 trillion economic rescue plan.
South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says they had to get it passed.
Rounds says they know the country is facing a serious situation.
Rounds says this is a prime function of the federal government.
This is the third rescue bill passed in the past couple of weeks. Rounds says they know they will be asked for more relief bills later this year.
