WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – The so called “Heroes Act” passed by the U.S. House last month won’t get far in the Senate. It was a $3 trillion economic rescue package seen as the next step in the pandemic recovery.
South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says the Senate is still committed to stabilizing the economy.
Rounds says the House bill was a political statement.
Rounds says the Senate will write their own bill.
The Senate may take up the next recovery bill next month.
