WASHINGTON, D.C. (KELO.com) – Senator Mike Rounds expects the first COVID impact stimulus checks to get out to the American people soon.
Considering the size of the federal bureaucracy, Rounds says he can’t complain about the time its taking. Congress approved the mega-trillion stimulus package three weeks ago.
Rounds expects a substantial number of COVID-19 economic stimulus checks to start going out in the next 10 days.
Those are the checks to individual Americans. But, Rounds says he is a bit disappointed about some of the hurdles in the program to help small businesses keep their workers paid during the crisis.
