WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – The three-way debate between the White House, the Senate and the U.S. House over the next economic stimulus bill continues.
South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says Republicans are holding out for a strong liability waiver.
Rounds says they also want more money going toward COVID-19 vaccine development.
Rounds says those that are still unemployed will still get some extra federally backed benefits.
Republicans want to hold the cost of the next round of stimulus at about one trillion dollars while Democrats have talked of spending up to three trillion dollars.
