WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says President-elect Joe Biden will have to take the Senate in consideration when he makes selections for his cabinet.

Rounds says a Republican Senate won’t be willing to go along with liberal cabinet picks.

Rounds says the Senate elections in Georgia next month will be critical in the process.

Republicans are defending the two Senate seats in the special election. If Democrats win those seats, the Senate would be in a 50-50 tie.
