WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – President Trump is expected to name his Supreme Count nominee Saturday, with Senate hearings expected to begin soon after.

South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds says he will wait on the process.

Some Republican Senators have suggested moving the nomination directly to the floor for a vote. Rounds says much of that will depend on the Democrats’ reaction.

Rounds says Democrats can only slow down the process.

Two Republican Senators have said they would prefer to wait until after the election to vote on the next nominee.
