YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- Dry conditions across the Missouri River basin continue to be reflected in the predictions for runoff into the river.
Ryan Larson with the Corps of Engineers in Omaha says their forecast continues to shrink.
Larson says they anticipate lower than normal river flows all season.
Larson says mountain snow pack has been below normal all winter.
Releases from Gavins Point Dam near Yankton are expected to rise from twelve thousand cubic feet per second to about seventeen thousand cubic feet in the next couple of weeks.
