RAPID CITY, S.D.(KOTA)- Thanksgiving is upon us, and while turkey and gravy is on most of our minds, Tessa Jaeger, public information officer for the Rapid City Fire Department reminds home cooks to stay focused in the kitchen.

Jaeger said that includes the turkey deep fryers.

With December right around the corner though, Jaeger said seasonal lights and candles need to be handled and placed properly.
