HASTINGS, NE (PCSaints.com) —Delainey Williams (FR/Victorville, CA) netted her third goal this season as the Presentation College Saints fell 3-1 to Hastings College this evening.
The Saints defense held strong for the first 30 minutes of action, as Kristina Nelson (SR/Auburn, WA) recorded four saves. Hastings broke through the defense, scoring off the cross bar in the 31st minute. The Saints forced Hastings to miss three shots in the final minutes of the first half.
Hastings struck early in the second half, scoring off the cross bar in the 52nd minute. Hastings scored their final goal in the 69th minute of play, finding the bottom corner off a cross bar.
Williams answered the Hastings goal in the 70th minute on a free kick. The Saints offense would not be able to find answers for the other goals as the Saints fell 3-1.
Nelson faced 10 shots on goal, with seven saves. Williams had the only shot recorded for the Saints.
The Saints return to Saints Field for Halo Days hosting Dordt College. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.

Hastings started their scoring early, netting back-to-back goals in the 13th and 14th minutes. The Saints defense held until the 32nd minute as Hastings chipped the ball over Jack Murray (SO/Townsville, Australia). Hastings finished their first half scoring in the 34th minute, finding the right corner of the net.
Hastings netted three additional goals in the second half as the Saints were unable to find a goal.
Davis Lupindu (FR/Reading, England) had the Saints only shot recorded in the match as it was saved by Aiden Buryska. In goal for the Saints, Murray faced 12 shots, with five saves.
The Saints return to Saints Field for Halo Days hosting Dordt College. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m.
