Salvation Army Christmas Dinner on Friday

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Salvation Army will host its Annual Christmas Dinner on Friday, Dec. 20.

Major Dale Hunt provides the details of this year’s event.

Ride Line will once again offer rides to and from the event, providing it has 24-hour advance notice.

Hunt said that about 175 people attended last year’s dinner. He expects between 175 and 200 to attend this year.

Bell Ringers will also continue to man their stations until 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24. There are seven stations in six different locations (there are two kettles located at Walmart). Hunt said this year’s goal is $70,000.

The Salvation Army will also be handing out food and toys on Tuesday for those who previously signed up.
