VERMILLION, S.D. (WNAX) – Sanford Health will be opening a new clinic in Ponca, Nebraska affiliated with their hospital in Vermillion.

Sanford Vermillion senior director Tim Tracy says they were invited to look at the community.

Tracy says the town and location are a good fit with their Vermillion facilities.

Tracy says they plan on a full range of medical services.

The clinic will officially open on Jan. 18. Ponca is about 25 miles from Vermillion.
