SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Scammers continue to be an issue during the battle against COVID-19.

Jessie Schmidt, State Director of the Better Business Bureau in South Dakota, said one state resident recently lost money to a mask scheme. Price gouging is also a problem.

Schmidt said that other scams include people claiming to have found a cure for the coronavirus.

She also cautioned about what to look for when visiting websites.
