YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – School districts across South Dakota will have to place signs that say “In God We Trust” in public locations.
The legislature this year passed a bill mandating the size and location of the signs in each school district.
Yankton Superintendent Wayne Kindle says they are doing what is required.
Kindle says laws like that don’t support local control.
Kindle says they will follow the law.
Kindle says they will deal with any questions or objections as they come up.
