YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – Now that the school year has officially wrapped up, Yankton Superintendent Wayne Kindle says teachers and administrators along with parents will evaluate how the final quarter was handled.
Students were sent home on March 13 due to the pandemic and finished the year with online only classes.
Kindle says there was a steep learning curve for everyone.
Kindle says they expect to do some remedial work in the fall.
The current plan is to start classes in the buildings again in late August.
