Jessie Schmidt, with the Better Business Bureau of South Dakota, says going on vacation can set you up to be scammed.

Schmidt says its best to double check on auto rentals.

Schmidt say you could end up with no place to stay at the end of your trip.

Schmidt says they have seen a big jump in reported scams of all types since early spring.
