PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- A bill that removes many restrictions on home schooling passed the South Dakota House and is on the way to the Governor.
Representative Rebecca Reimer of Chamberlain, one of the prime sponsors, says the bill makes four minor changes.
Representative Linda Duba of Sioux Falls says not all students do well in home schooling.
Representative Lana Greenfield of Doland says it is the ultimate local control.
The bill passed on a vote of 41-27.
